If mealtimes feel overwhelming, you're not alone.
Most parents want to feed their families well, but real life gets in the way. If any of these sound like you, you're in exactly the right place:
Does this sound familiar to you?
👉 You want to feed your family healthier meals, but you’re short on time, energy, and ideas.
👉 You've put your health on the back burner, and "don't have time" to meet your health goals being a busy parent.
👉 You feel pressure to “do nutrition right” but don’t know what actually matters.
👉 You’re tired of cooking multiple meals or relying on convenience foods out of necessity.
👉 You're stuck with the same meal rotation and tired of the same recipes on repeat.
👉 You want your child to have a healthy relationship with food...without battles or bribing.
👉 You, your spouse, or child have had a health scare at the doctors office & want to prevent/reverse the diagnosis.
👉 You care deeply about your family’s health… but you’re exhausted trying to figure it all out!!
Caring this much is exhausting when you're doing it alone. You don't have to anymore!
Hi! We're Abby & Khari Hatten.
Husband, wife, parents and the coach-and-chef team behind Hatten Health.
We know firsthand how overwhelming it feels to want better health for your family while juggling busy schedules, tight budgets, and real life. That's exactly why we do what we do.
Between us, we bring a rare blend of clinical health knowledge and professional culinary expertise.
Abby has worked in healthcare since 2016 as physical therapy assistant, senior physical therapy technician, and a senior exercise physiologist in a cardiopulmonary rehab. She is primarily focused on helping families build sustainable habits rooted in preventative health. Since becoming a mom to our daughter, Ayla, in 2023, that work has become deeply personal with nourishing growing bodies and supporting parents before health issues ever begin.
Khari brings over 25 years in the culinary world — from cooking in the U.S. Marines, to Norwegian Cruise Lines, to Executive Chef in upscale restaurants. He knows how to make meals that are nutritious and practical, affordable, and family-friendly, without ever sacrificing flavor.
We combined our skills to create Hatten Health with one simple mission: to help families bring real, lasting health into their homes — one meal, one habit, one family at a time.
We specialize in families with young children (ages 1–4) who want to:
- ✅ Make quick, nutritious, budget-friendly meals
- ✅ Reduce mealtime stress and picky-eating battles
- ✅ Confidently include their kids in the cooking process
- ✅ Build healthy habits that actually stick
We live in Colorado with Ayla and our two fur-babies, Duke and Duchess, and we'd be honored to support your family, too.

We don't believe families need more rules. They need a system that works.
At Hatten Health, we believe people don't need more food rules — they need support, education, and systems that work in real households, every single day.
So we built one. We call it the T.H.Y.M.E Framework, and it's the backbone of everything we teach:
- T — Togetherness: bringing the family back to the table
- H — Health: nourishing every age, the practical way
- Y — Yum: because healthy has to taste good to last
- M — Mindfulness: calm over chaos at mealtime
- E — Education: understanding why, without the overwhelm
Family Thyme: our signature program for families with toddlers.

"This course has changed my life and I can't wait to tell everyone about it! The coaches where knowledgeable and engaging, and the course material was well-structured. I feel more confident in my cooking abilities now and I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to enhance their skills or knowledge in the kitchen. Absolute bonus is now I know how to include my 4 year old and teach him how to cook as well!
Thank you for a great learning opportunity!" - M.T.
"We love taco night, but for about a month, Rory refused to eat tacos with us. We tried making them milder, swapping ingredients, serving them different ways. Today, I finally had success! I served his taco fixings on chips like nachos, and for the first time in a month, he ate tacos with us." - K.S.
“I've loved how easy the lessons are to follow, how short they are (so I never dread watching them), and how clean and organized everything is." - K.M.
"Maisie tried asparagus for the first time yesterday — and liked it!" -C.R.
“I like being able to talk to other families. I enjoy seeing other things people are struggling with or baking/creating or family wins!” “The little chefs model was really good.”- K.S.
“To me the most helpful part in module 1 was that it caused me to question WHY my toddler might not want certain foods. I’ve never tried to include him in the conversation about it so I’d like to try that and see if it helps him feel safe to try new things.” - K.M.
“I honestly really enjoy taking Cooper to the grocery store and the module gave me more ideas on how to involve him and make it fun! Yesterday, we went to the grocery store, together, I talked through several things we were putting in the cart and even let him pick between a couple items.” - K.M.
