About Your Hosts

Abby and Khari are the Nutrition Coach & Chef duo who are the faces behind Hatten Health! With over 30 years combined of expertise in the health and wellness space and culinary arts, parents of Ayla, avid experimenters and researchers, and advocates for special time and connections through food, they have come together to help empower families on their journey together to whole health by providing information, knowledge, guidance, support, and encouragement one bite at a time. We focus primarily on families of young children ages 1-4 years old who are wanting to learn how to improve their whole family's health and wellbeing, how to make quick, nutritious meals that are budget friendly, learn how to include their children in the meal making process, and more!

 Ultimately, they strive to create memorial experiences that will last a lifetime through food and mealtimes, and ensure families can maximize that time in the best and easiest way possible. 

Alicia has spent over 14 years helping families reclaim peace, presence, and connection in their homes. Drawing on her experience as a mental health professional and mother, she now works as a digital detox coach, equipping families with strategies to create calmer, more connected dynamics—without shame, guilt, or unrealistic expectations. She specializes in the impact of screen use on interpersonal skills and child development, including brain growth, emotional regulation, and social skills. Through a blend of research-backed tools and real-life application, Alicia helps families understand how screens shape behavior and how to take values-driven action for lasting change. Her work is the culmination of over a decade of professional expertise and personal passion, created to help overwhelmed parents break free from screen-dependent living and build homes that reflect their deepest values.
